Into The Wild

1. My initial impression of the book was "Aw Man" but that is just because i dont enjoy reading books (except for hary potter and blackhawk down). After takeing a step back and listening to Ms. B read the "readers note" and i realized this is Creative Writing man. Everything we do in this class is worthwhile and fun. Although I admit I'm running a little behind on the reading, so far this book makes for a decent read.
2. Stories-Daniel tells lots of stories.
3. A theme that i see developing in this book is non-conformity. Doing what you want to do and not what others tell you seems to be playing a key role in how this story is going to play out.
4. I could relate this story to survivor man, maybe if this show was around back then he would have survived.
5.Well the only thing i could think of is that my uncle is a retierd special operator in the US Armed Forces. He has had to survive im sure in just as harsh conditions as Daniel
6.This could be related to what our special operations soldiers have to endure every day. The main and most important difference though is that they are highly trained and prepared for just about every and any scenario there is.
